Who we are

Aqarzy runs both sites and is the controller of the personal data described here. Write to privacy@aqarzy.com about anything in this policy.

What we collect

Account: your email address and, if you set one, a display name.

Signing in: a one-time code (stored only as a hash) and the IP address that asked for it, both deleted within 24 hours; a session record with your browser's user agent.

What you post: listings with the contact name, phone number and photos you add; ratings, comments and votes; saved items; a verifier profile; verification requests with their messages and files.

Technical data: your IP address is used in memory to limit abuse and is not stored with your account. Our analytics count visits by country with no cookies and no IP address. Error reports have IP addresses and location removed.

Listings from other sites

We show property listings published on Nawy, Dubizzle, Aqarmap, Property Finder and Aqar Exit, including the advertiser name as published there. If a listing shows your personal details and you want them removed, write to privacy@aqarzy.com with the link.

Why we use it

To run your account and publish what you post (our agreement with you).

To keep the sites secure, stop abuse and fix errors (our legitimate interest).

To publish market data from public listings (our legitimate interest in giving buyers an overview of the market).

We do not sell your data, show ads or build advertising profiles.

Cookies and storage

sid: keeps you signed in, up to 30 days after your last visit.

lang: remembers Arabic or English, one year.

Both are strictly necessary, so we do not ask for consent and use no other cookies. A listing draft you have not submitted stays in your browser's storage on your device only.

Who helps us

Cloudflare hosts the sites, the database and uploaded photos, and sends sign-in emails.

Sentry receives error reports, stored in the EU, with IP addresses removed.

OpenFreeMap serves map tiles and unpkg serves a map script; your browser loads them directly, so they see your IP address.

How long we keep it

Account data and what you post: until you delete it or your account.

Sign-in codes: 24 hours. Sessions: 30 days after last use.

Server logs and error reports: a few weeks at most, as set by Cloudflare and Sentry.

Your rights

You can download a copy of your data and delete your account at any time on Your data. You can also ask us to correct your data or stop a use you object to. If you think we mishandled your data, you can complain to your data protection authority; in Egypt, the Personal Data Protection Center.

Changes

When this policy changes we update the date at the top.
